I know I’m late on 3 posts now but finals week has hit me like a pimp slaps a bitch so I really don’t have time.
I would like to take this time to make the announcement that principal filming on Plan 9 has in fact wrapped as of 4ish am Tuesday April 26th 2011.
I am both sad and excited, excited that soon I may sleep again (doubt it) and that I have seen this project through such a landmark. It is crazy to think this is all over…and sad because it’s over. No more crazy weekends driving to Roanoke and sleeping in my corner of the production house, waking up at the crack of noon and filming til the sun comes up, having fun the entire way even through the difficult things.
I know this is not the end of my Darkstone journey and my time with them, but it’s still crazy.
but…PLAN 9 PRINCIPAL IS WRAPPED!!! PARTY TIME!!!!
Production Day 4 days left
Filmed in an abandoned schoolhouse in Bedford again. This place is weird, cool and absolutely creepy (at night anyway). This is supposed to be the alien crash site. Now I’m not allowed to talk about ANY of this pretty much, but I will say that while some of the stuff there is cool the way one person looks is AMAZING. Wowzer I can’t believe I can’t talk about it, cause it’s just so freakin awesome. So I’ll talk about other things.
There’s a fight between a military guy and an alien, I did not actually see it, I spent the evening with the make up crew. Which was obviously the best choice…when the movie comes out you’ll understand why.
Along with the fight there was also a scene where a gorgeous man got mostly naked and dove into a freezing cold pool. He got covered in blood and did his scenes and was freezing cold the whole time, but he did fantastic.
Gosh there’s not too much else to talk about. Zombie day is next so that will probably be more interesting to read and less obnoxious in terms of secrecy.
